Introduction
My year in review for 2024, I have included my highlights of 2024 as well as some personal and site based goals for 2025.

2024 in Review
Highlights
- Officially adopted my cat Simba on 31st January. You can read more about him by visiting his page here!
- Graduated from University with a First in Biomedical Science and won a prize for my Final Year Project.
- Watched Spirited Away on stage in London.
- Had two lovely holidays within the UK. As much as I love to travel abroad for holidays I am really starting to appreciate the beautiful coutrysides and natural spaces we have here in the UK.
- Began an MRes (Masters Degree by Research) in Molecular Biology.
- Managed to see the Northern Lights for the first time!
- Celebrated my Grandma's 100th Birthday!
Goals for 2025
Personal
- Pass the first progress assessment for my MRes!
- Stop comparing myself to others - definitely easier said than done but I need to accept that I'm living life at my own pace. It may be slower than that of others but that is ok.
- Buy less - try to use up/wear things I already own and to think more carefully about new purchases. I don’t mean to buy nothing new as that would be unrealistic but just to give more consideration to what I’m buying and whether I truly need it.
- I would like to travel more. My dream is to visit Japan, but I can't see that happening in the foreseeable future due to the expense! I do hope I'm able to visit some more places though, whether that is abroad or within my home country.
Site
- Improve the site navigation, I sometimes feel it may be a bit confusing and that things could be better categorised.
- Redo the about me page, it is long overdue an update!
- Add pages for my in real life collections.
- Attempt to make some more pixel art of my own. This may be in the form of adoptables or by joining more pixels cliques. I need some more practice as I'm not very good at it!
- Participate in more community events. This is something I was already trying to make an effort to do in 2024 so hopefully it will continue into 2025!
- I would also like to add some more shrines for my special interests.
