Barunson is a South Korean company that was founded in the 1970s. The company has three divisions one of which is focused on the production of cute stationery. The companies stationery and cute characters became hugely popular in the early 2000s. Some of its most noteable characters included Cafe Pupu, Mini Valley, Penn-Penn and Sleeping Co.
